Platform-aware timing

One timer. Two Google Vids limits.

A normal words-to-time calculator stops at duration. This one checks the constraints that can make a Google Vids generation fail or waste a limited avatar generation.

01 / AI avatar

AI avatars: 60 seconds per clip

Google allows an AI avatar clip to run for up to 60 seconds. Use the 55-second safe cut for breathing room, or switch to the hard 60-second target.

02 / Voiceover

Voiceovers: 2,500 characters

Google Vids voiceover scripts accept up to 2,500 characters. The live counter catches that limit while the timing model estimates the finished read.

How it works

From rough script to ready-to-paste scenes.

  1. 01

    Paste the draft

Drop in narration, dialogue, or an AI avatar script. It never leaves your browser.

  2. 02

    Choose the read

Set a deliberate, natural, or energetic speaking pace and choose a 55- or 60-second clip target.

  3. 03

    Copy the cuts

The splitter prefers sentence boundaries and creates ordered scenes with individual timing estimates.

Quick answers

Before you generate.

01How accurate is the video script timer?

The estimate uses your selected speaking pace in words per minute. Real delivery varies with emphasis, pauses, names, and audio tags, so the tool also shows a ten-percent timing range.

02Why split Google Vids avatar scripts at 55 seconds?

Google Vids allows up to 60 seconds per AI avatar clip. A 55-second target leaves room for pauses, expressive delivery, and small differences between estimated and generated speech.

03Does this upload or store my script?

No. Timing and splitting run in your browser. This validation version has no account, database, or script upload endpoint.

04Can I use it for voiceovers, YouTube, or training videos?

Yes. The timer works for any spoken script. The Google Vids checks add platform-specific avatar and voiceover limits without changing the general timing calculation.
